On December 9th, 2016, SFI President and CEO Arnie Kuhns was one of three honorees inducted into SEMA’s Motorsports Parts Manufacturers Council (MPMC) Hall of Fame. During an evening reception at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show, the audience raised toasts to the newest inductees including our own Arnie Kuhns, Jim Hairston of PerTonix, and the legendary Smokey Yunick. The MPMC Hall of Fame recognizes those who have made a significant contribution to the MPMC or to the motorsports parts manufacturing segment as a whole.

At the MPMC Hall of Fame Ceremony (L-R): Rich Barsamian of ACT (MPMC Chair), Arnie Kuhns of SFI (Inductee), Carl Olson of SFI, Jason Bruce of Holley Performance (MPMC Chair-Elect)
SFI has a long and proud history under Arnie’s leadership. He has dedicated his career to improving the safety and reliability of motorsports parts under the SFI Quality Assurance Standards Program. Arnie’s success at attaining this goal is just one of the many reasons for receiving this great accolade from the MPMC. An added bonus of the night was that SFI’s own Carl Olson was given the honor of introducing Arnie, and presenting the award to his long time boss and friend.
