New Zealand’s premier drag racing facility since 1973, NAPA Auto Parts Dragway has long been a cornerstone of the sport in the region. Located on Dragway Road in Meremere, just off State Highway 1, the track hosts a vibrant calendar of events including the NAPA Auto Parts Competition Series, Night Speed Drag Wars, Winter Drag Wars, National Drag Racing Championship Series rounds, and popular annual fixtures such as Father’s Day Drags, Rotary Summer Drags, 4 & Rotary Nationals, Gasser Wars, Honda Grudge Meets, and Nostalgia Drags.
As an SFI member, NAPA Auto Parts Dragway will have access to our full range of safety standards, technical support, and resources designed to elevate safety across all levels of competition. SFI is excited to partner with the track and its promoters to support safe, high-quality drag racing in New Zealand and help advance the sport on the international stage.
