SFI is pleased to announce that the Dry Lakes Racers Australia has become our newest affiliate-level sanctioning body.
The Dry Lakes Racers Australia is the official sanctioning body for land speed racing in Australia. They conduct an annual event called Speed Week at Lake Gairdner in South Australia, where cars, trucks and motorbikes from all over the world run for speed records. Land Speed Racing is one of the earliest and purest forms of motor sports, and the outback of Australia has proven to be the ideal surface to run on.
The DLRA has been running successful events for decades and SFI is looking forward to bringing our safety benefits to an already outstanding sanctioning body.
